Vitamins-Minerals-Amino Acids-Herbs
The product contains selected vitamins (B1, B2, B5, B6, B12, C, E, PP (B3), H, folic acid, inositol – B8), selenium, alpha-lipoic acid, and 5 plant extracts (yucca, turmeric, artichoke, milk thistle, and dandelion), which have a beneficial effect on liver and pancreas functions, digestion processes, and intracellular metabolism.
- Vitamin C contributes to maintaining normal energy metabolism, helps protect cells from oxidative stress, and is involved in the production of collagen.
- Biotin contributes to normal micronutrient metabolism and energy metabolism. It is necessary to maintain the proper state of mucous membranes.
- Folates (folic acid), vitamin B6, and vitamin B12 help maintain normal homocysteine metabolism and blood production. Vitamin B6 helps in the proper synthesis of cysteine. It contributes to maintaining the normal metabolism of protein and glycogen and regulating hormonal activity.
- Vitamin B1 and pantothenic acid contribute to maintaining normal energy metabolism.
- Vitamin B1 (thiamine), niacin (vitamin PP), and vitamin B2 help maintain normal energy metabolism, the functioning of the nervous system, and the proper state of mucous membranes. Vitamin B2 is necessary for the proper metabolism of iron.
- Selenium helps protect cells from oxidative stress, supports the functioning of the thyroid, immune system, and maintains healthy hair, nails, and skin.
- Vitamin E helps protect cells against oxidative stress.
- Extracts from artichoke leaves, burdock root, milk thistle seeds, dandelion herb and root, and turmeric rhizome contain phytonutrients that have a beneficial effect on digestive function and intracellular metabolism. They support digestion and detoxification processes, stimulate bile secretion, and promote intestinal peristalsis. Burdock root limits the formation of gases and amines in the colon by inhibiting amino acid decarboxylation.
- Alpha-lipoic acid, also known as thioctic acid, is a coenzyme that transfers protons and electrons, working with oxidoreductases. It participates in oxidative decarboxylation of alpha-ketoacids and in the conversion of pyruvate to acetyl CoA and CO2. It plays a role in detoxification processes due to its SH group. It protects the body against the effects of heavy metals and carbon monoxide. It has protective properties for parenchymal organs, such as the liver. It accelerates glucose oxidation, increases glycogen stores in the liver and muscles, and lowers lipid concentrations in the blood. It is a lipotropic factor. It increases physical and mental endurance. Supplementation with alpha-lipoic acid intensifies detoxification processes in the skin and liver. It protects the liver and skin from harmful mycotoxins. It has antioxidant properties. It protects the skin against harmful UV radiation and aids in the removal of free radicals. It can renew natural antioxidants such as vitamins C, E, and ubiquinone, which are particularly susceptible to degradation by UV radiation. Alpha-lipoic acid raises glutathione and cysteine levels in the body and acts as an anti-inflammatory by inhibiting oxidants released by macrophages and leukocytes at the site of inflammation. It increases cell sensitivity to insulin.
- Methionine is an essential sulfur-containing amino acid. It is necessary for protein synthesis (translation). It is also a donor of methyl groups, which are transferred to various nitrogenous substrates using methyltransferases. It participates in the synthesis of creatine, choline, glycine betaine, and adrenaline. It participates in detoxification processes. It has lipotropic and liver-protective effects.
- Coenzyme Q10 participates in many important energy transformations, including those involving sugars. It is a strong antioxidant and has beneficial effects on the function of skeletal and cardiac muscles, increases overall physical endurance, lowers blood pressure, and stimulates the immune system. It participates in the renewal of vitamin E, protects cells from excessive loss of glutathione, harmful UVA radiation, and prevents skin aging. It enhances cell renewal processes, maintains proper skin elasticity, and increases the body’s immunity.
- Inositol is a substrate for the synthesis of meso-inositol, a component of phospholipids. Meso-inositol occurs in muscles and is often referred to as myo-inositol (myoinositolum, myoinosit). It can be converted into glucose in the body. Formerly classified as a vitamin (B8).
